MI SALON - Parksville, BC
A sister location to the original salon and spa, Kiyo, this new location needed a lot of work to convert it from the existing run-down salon space to the modern thriving space it is today.
The non-descript shell space was begging for some character. We added brick veneer to exterior walls to give room architectural detail and texture. The retail and reception areas were divided from the salon with a floating wall showcasing a large-scale wall graphic and dimensional signage behind the stone and mosaic tile counter.
With constant traffic, the client insisted on durable finishes that were low maintenance. Wood laminate floors fit the bill adding warmth while providing easy care.
